Finalist community forums are finally a thing, welcome! πŸ‘‹

As we hit 1,000 testers earlier this week I realized Finalist has outgrown my ad hoc social and email communication channels.

Early on, before Finalist was released, we had an amazing community on iOS messaging platform Wavelength that kept us on track. But as the app grew, it became unreasonable to expect new users to install this bespoke messaging platform just to share their ideas.

This meant the best ideas from these new users were coming in through email, which community does not make.

So welcome to Finalist on Discourse, a platform I’ve always trusted (mostly because it’s not free  ) Make sure to check out the Lab category for discussion about the beta. And don’t hesitate to chime in about anything, including this forum.

Here are some words from Discourse:

:speaking_head: Introduce yourself by adding your picture and information about yourself and your interests to your profile. What is one thing you’d like to be asked about?

:open_book: Get to know the community by browsing discussions that are already happening here. When you find a post interesting, informative, or entertaining, use the  to show your appreciation or support!

:handshake: Contribute by commenting, sharing your own perspective, asking questions, or offering feedback in the discussion. Before replying or starting new topics, please review the Community Guidelines.

If you need help or have a suggestion, feel free to ask in Site Feedback or contact the admins.

Great idea to create a community. Thanks.
