Finalist 1.8 is already underway, so far mostly bug fixes but I’ve started on new features too.
My goal for this version is to beef up the Lists tab of the app. I’ve had several somewhat overlapping suggestions about introducing Lists into Daily view. For example, if you’re packing for a trip you might want a separate to-do list to show up in your Daily tab.
Let me know what ideas you’d like to see in 1.8.

I really enjoy using Finalist 1.7 almost every day. Thanks!!! I like the combination of reminder lists and tasks! Why can only eight calendars be displayed? Also, I would like to be able in Planner to drag tasks to another day with my finger or mouse!

Thanks for the suggestions - one reason for the 8 calendar limit is the Planner tab, as the app needs to reserve space on the side of the app for each calendar. How many calendars do you have? I can rethink this implementation, as you’re not the first person who wants more calendars 
Hello! Is there a way to share portions of either things-to-do or lists? If I want a person to accomplish something or dedicate jobs for them to do either through email, family sharing, or printing. I still would really like family sharing of the app since my wife is constantly asking me what I’m going to do today. My lists are always a mile long.
Right now you would have to export the list, or add tasks to your calendar but I’m looking at expanding this. How would you ideally like this to work? Maybe syncing task with another person through shared Reminders list? Or would you want your wife to also have Finalist so she could follow along?
The wife having the software would be great and her having the ability to see my list and me see her list would be awesome. Also, say I’m the boss and I want my employees to know what tasks are assigned to them would be a definite improvement. They could check them off the list and I would know they were complete.

New iPhone is going to be announced in September, the new iPad Pro is here already and I do enjoy it, mostly due to the new Pencil Pro which has some nifty features
I’ve got the iPad Pro with the pencil and it’s great for when I go to conferences to take notes. Drooling over the new iPad with its new features. Maybe the wife will get a new iPad wink
